Nicoya Frey, President — nicoyafrey@comcast.net
Nicoya was born and raised in the Greater Williamsport Area and is employed at Frey’s Commissary. Currently, she is responsible for coordinating and facilitating the production and delivery of approximately 3000 meals per day to 11 counties throughout the state. She also manages 25 employees, food ordering, accounting, and public relations for the company.
Before starting employment with Frey’s Commissary, Nicoya lived in Washington D.C. where she attended and graduated from American University. Following graduation, she chose to come back to the Williamsport Area because she loves living in a small town and enjoys the beauty of central Pennsylvania.
During her free time, Nicoya takes pleasure in the outdoors and you can see her engaged in a game of tennis, kayaking, attending music festivals, and skiing. She also enjoys having the opportunity to give back to the community by performing outreach to the Leadership Lycoming program, the Williamsport Board of Health, and to the South Williamsport Area School District Foundation. During her downtime, Nicoya loves to cook and recently took up the art of pottery.
Nicoya’s interest in WLYP sparked from wanting to be a part of an organization with like-minded individuals who truly want to see this community succeed. She believes that WLYP has allowed her to meet numerous new people and she comments; “We are the future leaders and decision makers of this community and if we want to see it prosper, we need to get more involved”.

Brian has resided in the Williamsport area for over five years, originally growing up in Wayne County. He is currently a Branch Manager for Woodlands Bank. He enjoys living in Williamsport because he takes pleasure in feeling a part of a community where he can perform stewardship that makes a difference. Brian also enjoys the proximity to New York City, Philadelphia, and Washington D.C.
During his free time, Brian takes great pleasure in spending time outside with his dog Rosco, traveling, cooking, and going to the Farmers Market. Brian can also be found participating with volunteer functions in Lycoming County.
Brian’s interest in WLYP sparked from wanting to network with people his age with professional backgrounds. According to Brian; “I have been able to make numerous professional connections and expand his social network with other WLYP members”.

Erin was born and raised in Williamsport and attended Loyalsock Township High School. After graduating from high school, she attended Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania and then returned to the Williamsport Area to start her professional career. She is currently the Manager of Donor Relations & Special Projects for the Williamsport/Lycoming Community Foundation.
During her free time, Erin enjoys spending time with her family and friends along with volunteering for local non-profit organizations. She is also a Penn State football fan and can usually be seen attending home football games with her husband Pete. Erin can also be seen downtown shopping and dining at local restaurants and eateries during First Friday events.
Erin’s interest in WLYP began when she was looking to expand her professional networking circle and increasing her volunteer opportunities in the community. According to Erin, “WLYP has increased my knowledge of the community and all it has to offer. It has exposed me to a wide variety of other professionals with similar interests and the great talents they each bring to this area”.

Cori moved to the Williamsport Area in 2005 from Charlottesville, Virginia. After her move, she was able to easily call the Williamsport Area her home due to a history of spending summers in the area with her grandparents and cousins. She immediately took to the close community and being near family. She is currently the Marketing Coordinator for CRS Advanced Technology in the neighboring borough of Montoursville, PA.
During her free time, Cori is a Court Appointed Special Advocate through the YWCA and is also part of the Oregon East Running Club. She also enjoys spending time at her family cabin, traveling, and working with her husband Matt restoring their home in Muncy, PA which was built in 1830. Cori’s favorite thing to do in Williamsport is viewing a show at the Community Arts Center, scoping out the jewelry stores, and jogging while listing to her iPod; and in the fall, you can always find Cori at her Alma Mater cheering on the Nittany Lions.
Cori’s became interested in WLYP because she was looking to meet peers that take passion in their work, provide a hand to the community, and enjoy the surrounding landscape along with realizing the potential the local area has for young minded professionals. Cori says that “ WLYP has allowed me to meet some wonderful, intelligent people and allowed me to learn a lot about the County and Williamsport; I think together we are going to help continue to make Williamsport/Lycoming County a place that people will want to stay and call home”.

Tia has resided in the Greater Williamsport area for over 25 years. She currently lives in the neighboring borough of Montoursville, PA and works at Keystone Central School District in Lock Haven, PA where she is the Accounting Supervisor.
Outside of Tia’s professional career, she focused her efforts towards completing her MBA, took on the role of Chair of the WLYP Programming Committee, and has held part-time positions at downtown Williamsport eateries and restaurants. During her free time, Tia enjoys dining with friends during the summer at local restaurants’ patios. Tia believes that Williamsport is small enough to know a lot of people in the area, but big enough that there is a variety of things to do and close enough for day trips to New York City, Baltimore, Philadelphia, and Pittsburg.
Tia’s desire to join WLYP was to expand her networking base with other young minded professionals, developing herself professional and personally, and making a difference in the community. According to Tia, “WLYP has allowed me to see how important the organization is for other people in the community which makes me value my time and effort in being an active member and Chair”.

Nicki has lived in the Williamsport Area for her entire life and has no intentions of leaving the area. She grew up in Loyalsock, graduated from Loyalsock Township High School, and attended both Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania and Pennsylvania College of Technology. She is currently employed at the Lycoming County Controller’s Office where she is responsible for reviewing all invoices that the County Government submits for payments. She also audits employee expense statements, assists with auditing other county departments, and maintains all contracts that Lycoming County enters into.
Outside of her professional environment, Nicki spends time with her husband Steve, three Godchildren, two nieces and two nephews and loves to scrapbook. She also enjoys grabbing dinner at one of the local restaurants downtown and catching a show at the Community Arts Center.
Nicki chose to join WLYP because she wanted to become more active in the community with a young group of professionals. Nicki says “WLYP has helped me to come out of my shell since I am a shy person by nature. I am becoming more comfortable socializing with people that I don’t know and I love the feeling of being connected to Williamsport in a professional manner”.

Allen was born and raised in the Greater Williamsport Area but left town to pursue his undergraduate degree. However, he returned to the area back in 2008 and is currently a Financial Advisor for Merrill Lynch. Outside of work, he sits on the board of the Williamsport Chamber of Commerce and the Lycoming County United Way and in his spare time, he enjoys hunting, golfing, and fishing.
What Allen enjoys the most about living in Williamsport is spending time outdoors. He also loves the number of things that there are to do outdoors and the proximity to major eastern cities.
Allen became involved in WLYP but getting to know fellow young professionals in the area and conversing about how to make positive contributions in the community. According to Allen, “WLYP helps me to see the perspectives of other young professionals in the area and in turn making me a better thinker and decision maker in other organizations”.

Rob moved to the Williamsport Area over two years ago with his wife from Ecuador, South America. He is now employed as a consultant with Ideal Leadership where he serves as the Director of Coaching Services.
Outside of Rob’s professional career, he volunteers with Americorps and sneaks in time to play his guitar. His favorite thing to do in Williamsport is eat at local restaurants and loves the city of Williamsport because it is big enough to be considered a city yet small enough that you can get its pulse and understand how things work together.
Rob’s interest in joining WLYP sparked from attending an event and enjoying the energy of the people already involved with the organization. According to Rob, “WLYP is an outlet for me to use my leadership skills and make new friends in the area”.
